Showers with heavy thunderstorms
Slept for only 3 hours, woke up at 10a.m, felt strange that I wasn't tired at all. I stayed at home the whole day, and it rained the whole day too, occasional drizzle and heavy rain. later, I accompanied aunty to Yamaha's HQ at Kelana Jaya, to test the new home theatre system she just purchased. And to be honest, though I was impressed with the amplifier system, I wasn't so for the 5.1 speaker system. The moment I saw them, I knew they weren't gonna satisfy my ears, because they looked exactly like pc speakers! After that, we hurried back to Subang Jaya to scour for a Sen Heng shop which sells electrical appliances, because we needed a DVD player and we had a RM250 cash voucher.
The staff there recommended a JVC player to us, costing around RM349 but without the HDMI cable to fully enjoy movies in High Definition format, however, we could still use the S-Video cable to enhance our viewing pleasure, but not to the level of HD. I set up the whole system in less than an hour, started at 11.30 and finished everything at about 1a.m. Impressed with the video quality projected by the S-Video cable, but would still prefer the HDMI cable to have experience full HD.
