Overcast with heavy thunderstorms
Today's the day I probably dread the most, because its the day I'm returning back to KL. As usual it rained all day, but today's different, it poured so heavily that it reminded me of a scene from "The Day After Tomorrow". Was buying some food stuff for Duncan at NTUC, Thomson Plaza, formerly known as Yaohan, the mall I used to hanged out at when I was still a kid. As usual, I experienced some complications at the exit of the car park, because the the reader was faulty and couldn't read my cash card. Got stuck by the barrier for almost 10 minutes, another embarrassing ordeal with a Malaysian registered car at a Singapore public car park. That is why I hate driving around Singapore, unless I'm riding in a Singapore car, now that would be different. Other than that, SBS or MRT would be my preferred option.
But nevertheless, we still had to go home today. Was dreading every moment of it, but I felt the sooner I got on with it, the lesser the pain of having to miss 'home'. Left apartment at 3:30. grandma stayed behind because a new baby was expected 'in a week or two'. No jams at Causeway, surprisingly, but it was still raining all the way into JB. Stopped to refuel at our normal petrol station in JB town. Entered highway at around 4p.m and never looked back. Was raining all journey back to KL, only stopped when I neared KLIA. Was falling asleep all journey, so I stopped once to take a breather and to wash my face, or else I couldn't drive at all. But luckily, I managed to reach home with mum and Derek at 9p.m, with an average speed of 120km/h
